Poster on Epidemics

This is a hand made poster I have done on how advertising in the world of sexually transmitted disease's is processed and how it can make a difference on how the public can become aware of how to avoid and know of them, especially the dangers they can cause to a persons health.

I first started by looking at advertising and the word of mouth and how such things and television, radio and magazines can heavily influence people into doing things. From this is went onto social networking and how that itself has become a social infection to almost everyone, this involves making friends and starting relationships, and we get hooked on them. This can also be involved in how the Internet has taken over our lives for almost everything such as shopping, researching, speaking, playing games etc. I doubt very much that we will ever get over all this.

I even looked at how schools should spend a bit more time teaching about sexually transmitted diseases and how they can be avoided and what protection is available, but I have stated that this should be done more towards secondary school children rather than infants for more than obvious reasons, but I do however feel that because our future minds of tomorrow's minds are like sponges believe that disease such as colds, flu, cancer etc should be taught to them, mainly to teach that they are bad diseases that can be very harmful, but should not state so early on that they can cause deaths. To show this I have used television again and how children are easily influenced by popular programs that are aimed at them.
